In addition to psychological symptoms, physical signs such as hair loss, brittle nails, or dizziness may also appear.
The foundation for a successful psychological nutritional therapy process lies in addressing these questions, with an open attitude, realistic expectations, and active participation being key.
In alignment with the shared goals of the patient and therapist, therapy planning and implementation can begin. Only then can we create a path based on mutual trust and understanding.
In an in-depth initial consultation (90 minutes), we will discuss your eating history, habits, and patterns, and identify any behaviors that may be hindering your progress. This will provide a clear picture of your current situation.
Based on our initial discussion, we will define realistic and personalized goals for your therapy. These could include improving eating habits, addressing emotional eating, or developing a healthier relationship with food. Together, we will create a therapy plan that outlines the approach, methods, and time frame for our sessions.
We will work together to identify any eating patterns, beliefs, and emotional triggers that influence your behavior. By examining these aspects, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of your relationship with food and the psychological processes involved. Together, we will create strategies to help you make lasting behavioral changes.
Regular therapy sessions will allow us to reflect on your progress, discuss any challenges, and make adjustments where needed. You will receive support and motivation to stay on track as you work towards developing a healthy and positive relationship with food.
The initial assessment consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and outline a basic plan for the treatment ahead. It’s not just about getting to know each other; it’s also a space for open exchange, where we can decide how best I can support you. We will also discuss whether working together is a good fit for both of us.
Additionally, we’ll go over payment options—whether in blocks of sessions or weekly payments—and decide on the rhythm of our meetings, whether weekly or with longer intervals between sessions.
I will take the time to analyze your eating habits, medical history, and daily life in detail. This comprehensive assessment allows me to understand your current situation thoroughly. Based on this information, I will develop a tailored therapy plan for you, taking into account both your nutritional and psychological needs. Together, we’ll develop strategies to integrate a balanced diet into your daily life, specifically tailored to your individual requirements.
We will plan the next steps together and determine the interval for our meetings. In each session, we’ll discuss your progress, review ”homework”, share weekly input, and do joint exercises. Follow-up sessions will be scheduled at the end of each meeting.
The initial consultation lasts 90 minutes, with subsequent sessions lasting 50 minutes.
Yes, as the first sessions are particularly intensive, the 90-minute initial consultation is charged at the regular rate.
As short as necessary and as long as required. Depending on your individual goals, needs, and current situation, the duration of therapy can range from a single session to long-term nutritional therapy. Often, a clarifying conversation can help to structure the process and show the next steps. However, I recommend at least 5 sessions to ensure comprehensive support and the best possible results. The choice is always yours.
The intervals between sessions can vary—either short (weekly) or longer (every 2–3 weeks)—this is up to you. It’s often helpful to consider at least 2–3 sessions per month at the beginning to ensure effective progress.
At the end of each session, we will agree on the dates for the following meetings.
Personalized support and customized goal setting
Detailed analysis of your eating habits
Nutritional coaching
Evaluation of your food diary
Application of scientifically tested methods
Personalized therapy plan, specifically tailored to you (no calorie-based meal plans!)
Interactive exercises to support your progress
Provision of materials and resources for personal use
Recommended links and literature to deepen your knowledge
A holistic approach to achieving your goals: focus on nutrition, eating habits, self-care, and body acceptance
Ongoing support until you feel confident to continue on your own

Afterward, we’ll set up a 90-minute initial consultation. During this session, we’ll discuss your concerns, and I’ll gain an initial understanding of your goals. We’ll also clarify the framework of our collaboration. Together, we will evaluate the possibility of working together and decide whether we want to pursue the path of change together.
If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment for any reason, please cancel or reschedule in writing at least 24 hours in advance. If a cancellation is late or missed, the agreed-upon time will be charged.
I understand that sometimes things come up, but I would like to point out that I have follow-up appointments that I must attend to on time. If you arrive late, unfortunately, I cannot make up for the missed time, and the therapy session will be shortened accordingly. However, we will make the most of the remaining time during the session. Regardless, I reserve the right to charge for the entire session.
So, don't miss the opportunity to be on time – because punctuality is the fine art of mastering the chaos of everyday life.
